The Silver Creek Wedding–Michelle & James!

3:08 PM

I like to have fun with my peeps. And when James and Michelle tied the knot last fall, we did just that. =)

Their Silver Creek wedding adventure spec’d out to be an awesome weekend excursion for me. I flew up to the Bay on Friday and stayed with their crew at the Fairmont San Jose. A swanky spot, terrible parking, but gorgeous grounds-surrounding for the upcoming photoshoot AND walking distance to burritos. Pretty solid.

There's something to be said about spending an entire day shooting but having it go by super doubt because Michelle, James, and their entire wedding party truly did that name justice; as a group they were the party. And as such, these photos pretty much flowed from their fun-centric and up-for-anything attitude. Weddings like these man, too freaking goooooood.

Michelle and James, hope you’re living it up and enjoying dat married life. Thanks f'realz for having me around for the festivities. Enjoy these pictures, y'all hot.  – John

WOW kind words! Thanks for sharing these thoughts:

“I don't know where to begin with John...
From the moment we contacted him to the moment we dropped him off at the airport after our wedding, we never felt more relieved and at peace. My husband and I never had a single worry that our photos would not be "up to par". Photoshoots are definitely not in our everyday lifestyle, so we knew that we would be difficult to work with. However that didn't stop John! He definitely made us feel so comfortable that by the time the photoshoot was done, we couldn't believe how fast time had flown by. In simpler words, it wasn't a photoshoot but purely hanging out with a friend who loved to take photos :)
Wedding Day:

As a bride, you want EVERYTHING to be PERFECT! After 13 months of strenuous planning, I was determined to make sure that nothing went wrong on the day-of. Being able to have John there by our side to assist in making sure that we got all the perfect shots at the perfect locations took a HUGE burden off of our shoulders.

Not only did we get lucky with an incredible photographer, but we ended up gaining an incredible friend! John, until the next time we meet (hint: conversation about babies).”
