Tour of San Francisco – Liana and Brandon’s Engagement Session1:04 PM
One of the most diverse San Francisco Engagement Sessions in SimplyTwo history: Liana and Brandon.
My day with Liana and Brandon couldn’t have been more adventurous. We started our tour of SF on the other side of the Golden Gate, a spot I’ve wanted to shoot for quite some time and am so glad they were willing to brave the wind atop the headlands. With a mindset of exploration and some time to kill, we checked out Sausalito’s Cavallo Point just long enough for the light get good…and good it got! Minimal weekday foot-traffic meant zero crowds for our visit to The Palazzo de Fine Arts, which yielded a perfect mix of fancy + casual against Greco-Roman inspired architecturals!
With our warmup shots behind us, it was time to check out yet another bucket-list location and the one I was secretly waiting for all day: Sutro Baths, a truly remarkable location featuring the weathered ruins of decades-old structures. I was in awe with the space and loved the quiet sense of stillness it imparted to the final photos. I’d like to visit this spot again. Soon.
All day-trips must come to an end…so on our way to the airport we made a quick stop at the Embarcadero for a splash of whiskey at Hard Water followed by a righteous set of night photos, cuz let’s be honest…all those gorgeous downtown city lights? #musthave
Liana and Brandon, with your wedding upon us I can’t help but be excited for Round 2. Let’s do this proper =)
