Golden Gate Park Engagement Session – Jerry & Wendy5:27 PM
A few months ago I got the chance to meet Jerry and Wendy and tour SF for their engagement session. I love sessions where we get to explore different locations because it ups the variety and keeps things interesting throughout the day! We kicked off the session at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park and went straight to Lover’s Lane. There was one specific tree-lined clearing of felled eucalyptus trees that gave us striking backgrounds with repeating textures – such a perfect setting for a Sunday stroll right? Though it was an overcast day, the even lighting made them stand out more in each photo while allowing the backgrounds to subtly fade as background blur.
My favorite series of the day though, came near the tail end of the shoot. Why? Because ice cream. And not just regular ice cream, but Ghirardelli Square ice cream – that stuff is for champions!
Kudos for Jerry for being the utmost gentleman and giving Wendy his scoop when hers tragically fell to the floor. Boys, take notes.
See you two this weekend, can’t wait!
